Day 1: Arrival in Sankri – Gateway to the Best Kedarnath Yatra

Your Kedarnath Yatra begins with a scenic drive from Haridwar to Guptakashi, covering approximately 220 kilometers. The journey will take you through winding hill roads, lush landscapes, and beautiful views of the Ganges river and surrounding valleys. After reaching Guptakashi, check-in to your accommodation and relax for the night to prepare for the trek ahead.

Day 2: Guptakashi to Kedarnath (Trekking)

On Day 2, your journey continues from Guptakashi to Gaurikund (the base for your Kedarnath trek). From Gaurikund, start your 16 km trek to Kedarnath. The trek is moderately challenging and offers breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Once you reach Kedarnath, you’ll visit the sacred Kedarnath Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Spend some time offering your prayers and soaking in the spiritual atmosphere of the temple. Overnight stay in Kedarnath at one of the local guesthouses or camps.

Day 3: Kedarnath to Guptakashi (Trekking and Drive)

After an early morning visit to the Kedarnath Temple, begin your return trek to Gaurikund, retracing your steps through the scenic trails. Upon reaching Gaurikund, take a drive back to Guptakashi. Overnight stay at Guptakashi, where you can relax and reflect on the day's journey.

Day 4: Guptakashi to Haridwar (220 km, 9 hrs)

On the final day of your Kedarnath Yatra, travel back from Guptakashi to Haridwar. The 220 km drive will take approximately 9 hours, allowing you to enjoy the serene views of Uttarakhand once more. Upon reaching Haridwar, your Kedarnath Yatra concludes with memories of an unforgettable pilgrimage.

Clothing

  • From August to November, temperatures may drop to -15°C, especially at higher altitudes, so warm clothing, including a thermal jacket, gloves, and hats, is essential.
  • Good quality trekking shoes, warm layers, and waterproof gear are important due to the potential for rain and snow during the trek.
Payment Policy
  • A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking for the Kedarnath Trek.
  • 50% of the total cost is due 40 days before the trek starts.
  • 75% of the total cost must be paid 8-12 days before departure.
  • Full payment is required 7 days or less before the trek commences.
Cancellation Policy
  • Cancellations made 30 days prior to the trek: 30% of the total amount will be refunded.
  • Cancellations made 20 days prior to the trek: 50% of the total amount will be refunded.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 10 days before the trek departure.
